Julia Phillips

Equal Opportunity Investigator

Julia started her career at the University of Kentucky as a case manager for the Dean of Students office. She joined the Office of Institutional Equity and Equal Opportunity as an investigator in 2016. In addition to a B.A. in Anthropology and an M.S. in Student Affairs, Julia has an Employment Law Specialist Certificate from the University of Texas at Austin. Julia has completed a course in Conducting Effective Internal Investigations from the National Association of College and University Attorneys. Julia’s responsibilities include investigating complaints of discrimination and harassment and conducting trainings. She serves as Institutional Equity’s representative on the University’s Community of Concern team and the Provost Triage team.
